The Mental Health Crisis.
A recent survey found that 1 in 5 of college students say their mental health has significantly worsened under COVID-19.
Before the COVID-19 Pandemic, experts and researchers have been terms like “epidemic” and “crisis” to describe what American College Students are facing.
Statistics back up these claims, according to the 2018 and 2019 student surveys from the American Health Association (ACHA), about 60% of respondents reported feeling “overwhelming” anxiety, while 40% experienced depression so severe they had difficulty functioning.
